Body Piercing Course
Here at the London piercing academy we don't believe in breaking courses down to spread out qualifications just to gain more profit. We offer an all inclusive course covering all cannula, dermal anchor, and surface piercings combined. This is a far less complicated and cost effective process giving the student an affordable way of becoming a body piercer. Our courses cover all aspects of piercing techniques and demonstrations, piercing and studio equipment, supply routes, business advice and legalities.
Students will be given a step by step referral manual, gradually building a detailed account of procedures. All our students will need to gain satisfactory theory and practical knowledge to obtain a professional diploma on completion.
With part theory and part practical lessons this interactive and innovative course guarantees all aspects of piercing covered thoroughly. The London piercing academy offers you a lifetime of support with fully qualified tutors always on standby to help with any advice either on line, postal or by a personal tutor on call. Our body piercing course is run over 4 days and covers all above the waist piercings and also includes surface piercings and dermal piercings.
Our Piercing Courses Include...
All materials to enable you to successfully complete the Professional Diploma in body piercing, including comprehensive course work, real clients to pierce, extended home theory study, hands on training in a real working studio, experienced teacher to guide and support you through the course, lifetime support guarantee, refreshments, and of course a Professional certificate upon completion.
Our course covers all above the waist piercings and all our students will be given the full course notes.
Our students will have full utilisation of all our piercing equipment as if they were in a live working studio.
A Pass certificate will be awarded at the end of the course, to all students who achieve 80% or over on the theory and the practical test. Those who do not pass will have an opportunity to come back for a chance to retake free of charge.
The Syllabus
4 days training which will cover theory and practical.
Studio hygiene, preparation and by-laws.
Jewellery - sizing, understanding and placement.
How to deal with clients, setting up a business, purchasing stock.
You will be piercing real people whilst on the course.
You will receive notes and a step by step manual to keep.
You will be given help and advice on setting up your studio and which equipment to buy and suppliers to buy from.

The full course fee is £650.00 of which a £150.00 booking fee is required in order to ensure your place on any of our courses. This booking fee is only returnable if you cancel your place within 14 working days before the start of your course.
The remainder of the balance of £550 must be paid on or before the first day of the course.
Due to the nature of our course and the small groups we teach, it is each students responsibility to attend in a timely and appropriate manner. We cannot allow any of the other students learning to be affected as it would be unfair. If any cancellations are made with less then 10 working days notice, the student whom has entered into an agreement by paying the deposit and/or confirming their attendance via email etc, will be required to pay the full course fee as we would incur a loss, which could have been prevented by being offered to another prospective student with sufficient notice.
Course Outline
Day 1and 2:
The first 2 days of our course comprise of all the theory work behind body piercing including aspects of health and safety and how to prepare for and perform each body piercing as well as performing simulated piercings in order to prepare for practical body piercing.
Day 3:
On the third day of our course our students pierce our volunteers for the entire day.
Day 4:
On the fourth day of our course there will be more volunteers to pierce, and a theory test.
After successfully completing our body piercing training course, we will provide you with a comprehensive list of suppliers, advice on ordering materials and equipment, and discounts offered by selected suppliers. You will also receive a certificate and reference from the London Piercing Academy.
Aftercare:
Our support does not stop once you have passed your course. Should any of our students need any further support we are always available to help out wherever possible. We are just a call or message away, and we set up a group with the week's students to keep in touch.
